Field lesson for students of the EP “Tourism”

On December 3, 2024, within the framework of the discipline “Local History and Museology”, students under the guidance of senior lecturer at the Higher School of Tourism and Hospitality Koichubaeva D.S. visited the Museum of Folk Musical Instruments named after The Atlas.

The guests were greeted by a museum guide. A tour of the museum was organized for students: the main exhibition halls were demonstrated.  The 9 halls in the museum present various topics that give visitors a complete picture of the development of not only folk art, but also the musical history of the peoples of Asia, Europe and even Africa.

The meeting was held in the format of an excursion, where students were able to try on the role of a guide and told about some of the halls on their own, applying their knowledge and experience.
