«Mister & Miss Turan 2024»: Echoes of Empires

On December 20, 2024, the vibrant and memorable event, “Mister & Miss Turan 2024” competition, took place within the walls of Turan University. This year’s theme, Echoes of Empires, immersed the audience in the majestic atmosphere of the history, culture, and art of great civilizations.

On stage, 9 talented couples competed for the titles, brilliantly showcasing their talents, charisma, artistry, and creative approach.

Following the exciting challenges and impressive performances, the jury selected the winners:

• Miss Turan 2024: Yakupjanova Dilnaz (2nd year, International Relations)
• Mister Turan 2024: Telman Shakirjan (1st year, Restaurant Management and Hospitality)
• Vice-Miss Turan 2024: Ibragimova Tomiris (1st year, Acting)
• Vice-Mister Turan 2024: Kurmangazyuly Azat (1st year, Journalism)

The hall was filled with enthusiastic spectators who actively supported their favorites. The special atmosphere was created by the decorations reminiscent of the palaces of ancient civilizations and the musical accompaniment stylized to reflect the era of great empires.

The “Mister & Miss Turan 2024” competition became a vibrant conclusion to the year, bringing together the university’s students. The theme “Echoes of Empires” allowed participants and spectators to feel a connection to the majestic history of humanity.
