Competition “IT startup battle” for students of the educational institution “Information systems” and “Intelligent robotics”
From September 19 to October 18, 2024, within the framework of the discipline “Internet Entrepreneurship”, the “IT Startup Battle” competition was held for 2nd year students of the Information Systems and Intelligent Robotics courses.
The competition was held on the Russian platform of innovative competitions, hackathons and accelerators.
IT Startup Battle is an IT startup competition where participants create innovative projects, demonstrating their ideas, technologies and business models. The “IT Startup Battle” competition consists of 2 qualifying stages and a final. As part of the competition, students had to take a test on the basics of entrepreneurship and startup development and develop prototypes of IT projects in a team. 54 students participated in the competition.
Based on the results of the final of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:
- 1st place – EarthTrackers team: Gaitinov M.R., Sagyndyk A.G., the project “QuakeData – telegram bot for collecting data from sensors of seismic activity”, gr. IS-242(3), Turan University. The head is cand.tech.sc., associate professor Kim Ye.R.
- 2nd place – “404 Squad” team: Masaltsov M.A., Falchenko Z.D., Boribaev Zh.O., Kurmanbai M.M., the project “Gosu – a mobile platform for accounting of goods, sales analytics and automation of accounting processes”, gr. IS-242(3), Turan University. The head is cand.tech.sc., associate professor Kim Ye.R.
- 3rd place – OnlyGirls team: Almagambet S.N., Amirzhanova S.A., Bakhtiyarova R.B., Mukhametkanova D.R., the project “Bilety360 – a web service for selling tickets to events”, gr. IS-232(4), Turan University. The head is cand.tech.sc., associate professor Kim Ye.R.
