International programming olympiad “Proggy-Buggy Towel Contest 2024”

On October 26, 2024, the international programming Olympiad “PROGGY-BUGGY TOWEL CONTEST 2024” was held at Turan University, organized by the international IT company DataART and the Higher School of Information Technology.

 

PROGGY-BUGGY TRAVEL CONTEST is an international Olympiad for programmers, which has been attended by more than 10 thousand people from 60 countries over the past 10 years. Every year, participants from Kazakhstan take prizes.

 

The Olympiad was attended by schoolchildren, students, developers, testers and people who have an idea how programs are written. The participants had only 42 minutes to solve 13 tasks.

 

This year, more than 1,700 participants from 52 countries took part in the international programming competition PROGGY-BUGGY TOWEL CONTEST 2024, of which 60 people took part offline at Turan University

 

The winners in the offline participants category were Lev Belousov, Dias Aspandiyarov, Oleg Merezhko («Team Spirit»).
