Open Day for students of Almaty State College of Power Engineering and Electronic Technologies

On January 23, 2025, the Higher School of Information Technology (IT) held an Open Day, which was attended by about 30 students at the Almaty State College of Power Engineering and Electronic Technologies.

The Open Day is part of the university’s career guidance events, including higher schools, to increase the number of students in educational programs.

The following spoke to the students of the college: Director of the Higher School of Information Technology Mambetov S.T. on the topic: “Educational programs of the school”, Coordinator of the Marketing and Admissions Department Tsvirenko A. on the topic “Grant Project – a step towards receiving an internal grant from the rector”, cand.tech.sc., associate professor of the Higher School of IT Kim Ye.R. on the topic “Research activities of students as a basis for the implementation of professional competencies.”

The students were also introduced to the university infrastructure and the rules for admission to the educational programs of the IT direction of the University “Turan”: 6B06101 – Information Systems, 6B06103 – Intelligent Robotics, 7M06101 (7M06103) – Information Systems, 7M06105 – IT Service Management.

The students actively asked questions of interest to them, to which they received comprehensive answers from representatives of the Higher School of IT and the Marketing Department and the Admissions Committee.
