Career guidance work of Higher School of Information Technologies in Almaty State College of Energy and Electronic Technologies

On January 24, 2025, the Higher School “Information Technologies” participated in the PROFITIME professions day, which was held by the Almaty State College of Power Energy and Electronic Technologies.

PROFITIME was dedicated to the year of working professions, which was recognized this year in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The head of state in his Address stressed the importance of early career guidance and the need to start this work within the walls of schools and colleges, since the problem of choosing a profession among schoolchildren and college students remains relevant.

The college students were addressed by Tsvirenko A., a Coordinator of the Marketing and Admissions Department, who spoke about Turan University, its educational programs, discounts and competitions. Also candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of the Higher School “Information Technologies” Kim Ye.R. told college students about the educational programs (EP) of the school: 6B06101 – Information Systems, 6B06103 – Intelligent Robotics, 7M06101 (7M06103) – Information Systems, 7M06105 – IT Services Management and the contingent of students studying on these EP. In her report, Kim Ye.R. noted the achievements of EP students in republican and international competitions and spoke about the events held by the school in 2025.

Students actively asked questions to which they received comprehensive answers from representatives of the Higher School of IT and the Department of Marketing and Admissions.
