HIV and Reproductive Health Prevention: An Important Meeting at Turan University

On February 10, 2025, a preventive meeting was held at Turan University on the topical issue of HIV Infection Prevention and Reproductive Health. The event was organized by the Medical and Health Center and the Youth Affairs Committee.

Therapist of City Polyclinic No. 7 Elshibaev A.B. and gynecologist Dzhalilova T.Z. spoke to the university students. The speakers talked about the ways of HIV transmission, methods of its prevention, and the importance of caring for reproductive health. The doctors explained in detail what measures will help minimize the risks of infection and emphasized the importance of regular medical examinations.

Particular attention at the meeting was paid to myths and misconceptions associated with HIV infection. Issues of safe relationships, contraception methods and family planning were also discussed.

The students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions and shared their thoughts. At the end of the event, all those interested could receive information materials and recommendations for further in-depth study of the topic.
