A workshop on “Developing Dual-Degree Programmes” was held at Turan University with the support of the British Council in Kazakhstan

On March 12, 2026, Turan University hosted the workshop “Developing Dual Degree Programs,” dedicated to the creation of joint educational programs with international universities. The event was supported by the British Council in Kazakhstan.

During the workshop, participants explored the key steps involved in launching dual degree programs — from initial concept and curriculum alignment to the procedures for mutual recognition of diplomas and qualifications.

 

The workshop was facilitated by Nadezhda Trubova, Head of Education at the British Council in Kazakhstan, and Aizhan Turgumbayeva, Associate Professor-Researcher of Higher School of Psychology, Turan University. Following the workshop, participants expressed their readiness for further dialogue in the field of international academic collaboration and agreed to explore possible directions for launching joint educational programs with partner universities abroad.
