Completing a scientific internship at one of the leading foreign universities or research centers is a mandatory component of doctoral students’ research work.
In the spring semester of 2021-2022 academic year, two 2nd-year PhD students completed the internship at European universities.
So, from April 25 to May 7, 2022, PhD student of “Finance” educational program Nuraliyev Aldiyar completed the internship at the University of Applied Sciences of Zittau/Gerlitz (Zittau, Germany), with his scientific consultant Professor Roland Giese. During the internship, a meeting with the rector of the university took place. The doctoral student also was acquainted with the activities of the local branch of the Academy of Sciences, the research institute and research laboratories at the university. For 2 weeks, the doctoral student, together with his scientific adviser, worked on sections of his doctoral dissertation, studied foreign materials in the university library.
From May 1 to May 15, 2022, Kseniya Kulik, PhD student of Economics, educational program, completed an internship at Budapest Metropolitan University (Budapest, Hungary). PhD student took part in seminars held by the university: “Development of ecological tourism in rural areas of the country”, “Diversification of the economy of rural regions as a factor in improving the welfare of society”. In addition, the doctoral student participated in seminars on research methods, got acquainted with the activities of the Institute of Tourism and Marketing at the university, several meetings were held with the scientific consultant Dr. Ferenc Kiss on the issues of dissertation research.
At the end of the internship, PhD students received certificates of completion of the foreign scientific internship.
