Turan Robo-Start Intelligent Robotics Competition

One of the leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Institution “Turan University,” announces that a competition in the field of intellectual robotics Turan Robo-Start will be held from March 11 to March 29, 2024, at the Department of Information Technology of the Faculty of Economics, aimed at identifying and supporting talented students at colleges and high school students grades 9-11 in the city of Almaty.

 

The total prize fund of the event is 100,000 tenge. The competition is held with the support of the company LLP “Дом печати «Баспагер”.

 

The working languages of the tournament are Kazakh and Russian.

 

The competition consists of two stages:

  • 1st qualifying round in online format (testing).
  • 2nd main round in offline format (programming).

 

Programming languages:

  • C++.
  • Python.
  • JavaScript and others.

 

Development environments (IDE):

  • Arduino IDE.
  • Proteus;
  • Any online platforms for Arduino UNO

 

Olympiad program:

  • Registration of participants – from March 11 to March 17, 2024.
  • Conducting the 1st round – March 18, 2024, 14:00 – 15:00
  • Announcement of the results of the 1st round – March 19, 2024.
  • Conducting the 2nd round, awarding the winners – March 29, 2024, 14:00 – 17:00
  • Awarding the winners – March 29, 2024, 17:30

 

Expenses for travel, accommodation and meals are covered at the participants’ own expense.
