How It Went: April Meetup of the Marketers Club

On April 9, the new season of the Marketers Club kicked off with a vibrant meetup at Turan University! The event, held with the support of the Kazakhstan Marketing Association, brought together the most active marketers from various industries — from B2B to retail.

 

The topic of the meetup — “Marketing and Sales. Can We Be Friends?” — sparked lively interest and a passionate discussion.

 

The speaker, Evgeniya Bakirova, Marketing Director at Bitrix24 Central Asia, shared real-world cases, insights, and practical tools for building better collaboration between marketing and sales teams.

 

 

Key discussion points included:

 

  • Who’s responsible for hitting the target: marketing or sales?
  • What’s the difference between communication channels and sales channels?
  • Who should drive repeat purchases?
  • How to build a unified strategy without the tug-of-war?

 

 

Every attendee received a branded sticker pack from Bitrix24, and to top off the evening, we raffled off two special sticker packs from the Marketers Club — the lucky winners went home with smiles and fresh stickers for their laptops!
