Alimov O.T., Chairman of the Chamber of Legal Consultants “Center for Legal Protection and Provision of Legal Services,” delivered a guest lecture to students majoring in “Law” and “International Law” at the Higher School of Law of Turan University.
The lecture was devoted to the discussion of the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, students were introduced to the conceptual provisions of the draft Basic Law, and the key novelties and their institutional significance were explained.
The speaker paid particular attention to a comparative analysis of the proposed amendments with the current version of the Constitution, emphasizing the systemic transformations and their impact on the further development of the country’s legal and state model. It was also specifically noted that the republican referendum has been scheduled for March 15, 2026. Citizens’ participation in the vote is regarded as an important step in determining the future constitutional development of the state.
The guest lecture was held in an open dialogue format and aroused keen interest among the students, contributing to the deepening of their professional knowledge and the formation of an active civic position.
