A platform for knowledge and idea exchange in innovation
On April 2–3, 2026, the Higher School of Information Technology at Turan University hosted the III International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists “InnoTech Connect: Connecting Ideas and Technologies.”
The conference became an important scientific communication platform for students, master’s and PhD students, and young researchers to exchange knowledge and ideas in the fields of modern information technologies, digital transformation, innovative IT solutions for business, and artificial intelligence. The event aimed to foster creative thinking and develop innovative approaches to solving current scientific and practical challenges.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Dina Ibragimovna Razakova, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development, Science and Innovation, and Saken Tolegenuly Mambetov, Director of the Higher School of Information Technology.
During the plenary session, invited speakers from leading IT companies, research organizations, and business delivered presentations:

- Aneliya Mukhamedkarimova (Apple Developer Academy, Naples, Italy);
- Tatiana Kvitko (TechBridge Distribution);
- Zhanar Bimurat (D.A. Kunaev Institute of Mining);
- Eduard Lik (Halyk.Market);
- Nurzhan Sagyngaliyev (Funnel CRM);
- Alisher Kazhymukhanov (Turan University).
The presentations covered relevant topics such as cybersecurity, software development, implementation of artificial intelligence, and digitalization of business processes.
Participants from universities across Kazakhstan and abroad presented research papers and innovative projects in three key areas: information technology and digital transformation, IT solutions for business and entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence and intelligent systems.
As part of the conference, the II student innovation competition “InnoProject Challenge” was held, where participants presented practice-oriented projects. Based on the results, the best works were awarded first-, second-, and third-place diplomas, as well as special prizes.
The plenary session was moderated by Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Ekaterina Romanovna Kim.
The conference demonstrated a high level of scientific activity among students and became an important step toward strengthening international cooperation and integrating science, education, and industry.
