The rapid chess championship among schoolchildren was held at Turan University

On December 10-11, the open championship of Almaty region and Almaty city in rapid chess among schoolchildren was held at Turan University. 168 chess players took part in the open championship in the category from 8 to 18 years old.

Turan University has allocated grants for the training of the first three winners of the tournament in the category of 16-18 years.

The grant holders were:

• 1st place – Tursynali Bekarys
• 2nd place – Isumbayev Ernazar
• 3rd place – Baitleu Raw
