Whooping cough is a highly contagious respiratory disease caused by a bacterium Bordetella pertussis which is found in the mouth,nose and larynx.Mostly get sick children. The causative agent of whooping cough spreads through the air, where it enters when coughing, sneezing,patient’s conversation.
