International scientific and practical conference “Independent and fair court is a condition for approval of New Kazakhstan”

On May 15, 2024, the international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Candidate of Legal sciences, Professor Baishev Zholymbet Nurakhmetovich “Independent and fair court is a condition for approval of  new Kazakhstan” was held at Turan University. The conference was attended by judges of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kydyrbayeva A.K., Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Asanov Zh.K., First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus Kalinkovich V.L., Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lastaev A.E., Head of the Secretariat and judges of the EAEU Court Kulesh N.N., Rector of the Academy of Justice at The Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Baimoldina Z.H. and many other honored guests are prominent lawyers from Kazakhstan and abroad.

The rector of Turan University, Doctor of Economical sciences, Professor Alshanov R.A. opened the work of this conference with a welcoming speech.

The conference was moderated by Doctor of Legal sciences, Professor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Mami K.A., Professor of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, Director of the Research Institute of Law of Turan University, Doctor of Legal sciences, Professor Akimzhanov T.K.

All participants of the conference noted the great contribution of J.N. Baishev to the legal science of Kazakhstan, especially in the development of the judicial system and the establishment of the independence of judges, the reports of the speakers of the conference caused a lively discussion and scientific interest.
