Turan University Hosted an Open House Day for “Economics” and “World Economy” educational programs
A large-scale Open House Day dedicated to the “Economics” and “World Economy” educational programs was held in the White Hall of Turan University. The main theme of the meeting was the call to action: “Be a Leader of Economic Change.”
The event was attended by high school students and college students from Almaty. During the meeting, guests received detailed information about the curricula, career prospects, and unique opportunities available to the university’s graduates.
A key highlight of the program was a discussion with invited experts and practitioners. The guest speakers were:
- Chingiz Kanapyanov — International Development and Strategy (ITS) expert;
- Aidar Baitayev — CEO of “Baitai Partners”;
- Azat Arupov — Head of Marketing at the international company “IGateway LTD.”
The speakers discussed current trends in economics and business, shared their professional experiences, and answered questions from future applicants.
The event culminated in the “Ideas That Change the World” Olympiad. Based on the results of the intellectual competition, winners and runners-up were identified for demonstrating a high level of economic knowledge.
