The primary goal of the university’s scientific activity is to organize and conduct fundamental, applied, and scientific research, integrate the obtained results into the educational process, and carry out research and development for legal entities and individuals based on civil law contracts.

 

Scientific research work at Turan University is carried out by the faculty in accordance with the strategic plans of structural unit leaders, as well as the research activities and plans of doctoral students, master’s students, and undergraduate students.

Strategic Priorities:

Strengthening the University's Image as a Leader in Innovation and Entrepreneurial Activities in the Region
  1. Open science initiatives serve as a cornerstone for fostering transparency, collaboration, and accessibility of research, including open-access publications.
  2. Improvement and expansion of the scientific digital profile of Turan University.
  3. The use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics can significantly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of scientific research.
  4. Development of conceptual and applied foundations for entrepreneurship education.
  5. Expanding the practice of conducting research projects and graduate qualification works commissioned by organizations and enterprises.
Global Research Partnerships and the Integration of National Science into the International Scientific Community
  1. Development of a comprehensive approach to promoting and expanding global research collaboration with leading universities.
  2. Identification of strategic partner institutions for Erasmus+ and Horizon Europe programs and obtaining grants.

Developing the Research Potential of Faculty Members with a Focus on Human Capital Development, Talent Acquisition, and Interdisciplinary Research

  2. Maintaining an integrated social academic performance index (iROS, GPA).
  3. Support for the development of research and innovation activities, along with the establishment and growth of university research schools.

  6. Development and implementation of a mechanism for encouraging youth participation in research activities.

Commercialization and Promotion of Scientific and Innovative Activity Results by Faculty and Students
  1. Encouraging the integration of research results into the educational process.
  2. Student business incubators (improving education quality, university reputation, establishing connections with the business community, and securing additional funding).
  3. Establishment of small innovative enterprises within the business incubator.
  4. Project-based collaboration with private sector organizations.
  5. Organization and implementation of an internal university competition for graduate projects.
  6. Regular industry exhibitions to showcase the practical application of research findings.
