Guest lecture by Olga Viktorovna Proventyeva for students of the OЕ «Tourism»

On November 25, a guest lecture was held with the participation of Olga Viktorovna Proventieva for students of the 2nd year of the OЕ «Tourism» within the discipline «Technique and tactics of active types of tourism» (senior lecturer of the Department «Tourism and Service» A.E. Uvarova). O.V. Proventieva in tourism since 1984. Her track record demonstrates the experience of possible implementation in the profession in the direction of «Tourism». She worked for 10 years at the Ryazan Art Museum as a junior researcher and tour guide to the head of the department of excursion and mass work. Then she worked as a guide-translator in St. Petersburg. She passed on her experience to students as a teacher of tourism disciplines at the Baltic Tourist Educational Complex, Deputy head of the Department of Tourism for methodological Work, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Tourism; developed a curriculum in the specialty 06114800–management in tourism at the Baltic State Technical University. Subsequently, she worked as a tour guide in France and England. Currently, the owner and general director of the tour operator company «Northern Capital», which organizes bus tours in Europe.

Students actively asked questions and were once again convinced of the right choice of their professional training in the field of tourism.
