Guest lectures by IT industry experts at Turan University

On April 16, 2026, guest lectures featuring representatives of leading international IT companies were held at the Higher School of Information Technology of Turan University.

Invited experts addressed the students: Eduard Lik, Senior/Lead Frontend Software Engineer at Halyk.Market, and Karim Nauruzov, Senior Information Security Analyst at the international company DataArt.

As part of his lecture “Release Anatomy: From Folder to Deployment,” Eduard Lik covered the key stages of the software product lifecycle—from development to release. The speaker explained in detail the processes of team development, the use of tools such as Git, code review, testing, and CI/CD, as well as practical aspects of ensuring code quality and organizing automated releases.

Karim Nauruzov delivered a lecture titled “Don’t Trust AI Code,” focusing on information security issues when using artificial intelligence tools in software development. Attention was paid to the risks associated with AI-assisted code generation and methods for identifying vulnerabilities. The session also introduced the IIPP international internship program, offering students opportunities to gain research experience at foreign universities.

The guest lectures attracted significant interest among students and helped expand their understanding of modern IT industry requirements, modern technologies, and career development opportunities.

Such events contribute to strengthening collaboration between the university and industry, as well as improving the quality of training for future IT specialists.

The lectures were organized by Yekaterina Romanovna Kim, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Higher School of Information Technology.
