Faculty of Digital Technologies and Arts of the University of Turan has been training technical and creative personnel for the field of cinema and television, as well as related industries since 1998.
The educational activities of the faculty include two areas of preparation – technical and creative.
The goal of the faculty is to train highly qualified technical and creative specialists who meet the needs of our time and which our country really needs.
At the faculty created and developed specialized offices – television studios, pavilions and laboratories for training personnel on creative, technical specialties. The specificity of the modernized design of the semiconductor pavilions, the video editing studio, the cinema, the laboratory, conveys the modern work.

For the book “Nation—building in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries, and how that process is reflected in cinema” – the Kulager Award of the Union of Cinematographers of Kazakhstan as the best film work of the year (2007).

He graduated from the Master’s degree program of the Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana with a degree in Feature Film Directing. He proved to be an active participant in the cultural life of the city, for which he was awarded a letter of thanks from the mayor of Astana.He was a member of the jury of the jubilee student Film Festival held at Nazarbayev University. In 2017, he acted as a speaker at the competition “The World through the eyes of Youth”, organized by the KSU “Center for Research on Problems of Religion” under the Akimat of Astana city. In 2018, he was again invited to be a member of the jury of the social advertising contest “The World through the eyes of youth”, held by the same Center.

The Faculty of Digital Technologies and Art has a modern film and photo pavilion, which has all the latest special equipment necessary for the film production process. This is a new, significant stage in improving the learning conditions for students, because practical classes help students to consolidate theoretical knowledge and gain professional skills in working with film and photo equipment.
