Serik Imanserikovich Nusupbekov

A renowned Kazakhstani educator and scholar, Serik Nusupbekov has made a significant contribution to the development of professional education and cinematography in Kazakhstan

Education and Professional Experience:

 

  • 1977: Graduated from the Tashkent Institute of Railway Transport.
  • 1993: Completed studies at the Kazakh Institute of Economics, Management, and Forecasting.
  • 2002: Earned a PhD in Economics.
  • 2009: Defended his doctoral dissertation and received a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree.

 

Since 1991, he has led the Republican Educational and Methodological Association for Specialties in Computing and Audiovisual Technology, based at the Almaty Cinema College (later Almaty State Polytechnic College). Since 2005, he has also served as an associate professor at the Department of “Construction of Transport Facilities” at the Kazakh University of Transport and Communications.

  • 2010: Earned a Doctor of Technical Sciences degree in “Railway Track, Surveying, and Railway Design.”
  • 2009: Awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in Transport.

 

Currently, she is a professor at the Higher School of Computer Engineering at Turan University and heads the Academy of Cinema and Television in Almaty, established in 1998.

Associate Professor, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and laureate of international music competitions. A member of the “Roksonaki” ethno-group since 2005.
