In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. D/244/23 dated 16 March 2023 between Turan University and Almaty Management University, master’s students on the ‘Marketing’ programme at AlMaU undertook a research placement at Turan University from 30 March to 12 April 2026.
The placement programme included a variety of academic activities:
- 31 March 2026. Introduction to the Apple Digital Lab and the Joint R&D Laboratory for the Development of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Technologies; working with applications on Apple tablets; A.M. Mukhamedkarimova, Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Marketing Association;
- 1 April 2026. Academic seminar ‘Information search tools for scientific research’; A.A. Kairova, Senior Lecturer at the Higher School of ‘Marketing and Logistics’;
- 2 April 2026. Academic seminar ‘The Application of Artificial Intelligence Technologies for Scientific Research’; Professor S.S. Tamenova of the Higher School of ‘Economics and Management’;
- 3 April 2026. Round table: ‘The Application of Artificial Intelligence in Marketing and Advertising’ (speakers: industry practitioners); Director of the Higher School of Marketing and Logistics, M.T. Davletova;
- 6–7 April 2026. Preparation and writing of a research article for publication in the Proceedings of the International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Logistics of the Great Steppe – 2026’; Master’s students;
- 8 April 2026 Preparation of a paper and presentation for the conference ‘Logistics of the Great Steppe – 2026’; Master’s students;
- 9–10 April 2026: International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Logistics of the Great Steppe – 2026’, featuring invited international scholars; Davletova M.T.
- 10 April 2026: Summary of the research placement and presentation of certificates; M.T. Davletova
16 AlMaU postgraduate students attended all events, completed all tasks and successfully completed the internship. They gave positive feedback and rated all the events highly.
